What can Elvis, The King, teach us about royalty?

Why was Elvis proclaimed king and who did the proclaiming? Was he royal in his behaviour? Yes? Then what were those royal behaviours? What makes them royal? How did he learn that behaviour?

I have no idea what Elvis was like on or off stage, but one thing is for certain, he would have had many great attributes which attracted people to him and have them proclaim him king. Good for you Elvis. He would have also had a dark side. We all do (except God) at this time, but we can choose to focus on the good or the bad. Focusing on the good has lots of benefits.

Royalty as defined on this blog means stability. Fluctuation and royalty are mutually exclusive. You can't have an 'off day' if you are royal. One is either royal or not royal. The bar is very high. Why? Because royalty are the example, the guides to the kingdom. As royalty do so will those residing in the kingdom. Does Elvis score on this definition?

Royalty means sweetness. Royal people never think or speak thoughts or words that aren't sweet. Take a look at the following and check what you know about Elvis and see how he measured up. (I use the term measured, past tense, even though, as you know, Elvis lives, but not as Elvis)

"Be a royal and a great soul who garlands with garlands of praise even those who defame you. Garland those who defame you with garlands of praise and they will automatically return the garland of praise to you because to garland those who defame you with a garland of praise means to guarantee them becoming your subjects for birth after birth. This giving becomes a form of receiving many times over. This speciality will make you a specially beloved king and a great soul."

So to only 'see' (focus on) the greatness, the positive attributes, the virtues in others is extremely royal behaviour and something one can learn to do. It's not easy, but it is possible and something really worth learning, a skill worth acquiring.

A royal life is a life of service. Self-service and world service. I'll leave you with another quote to assist you in your quest for royalty.

"In order to claim your fortune of the kingdom of the whole world, simply become pure. Just as the Father is completely egoless and enters the impure world and an impure body, in the same way, you also have to become as egoless as the Father and do service."

We teach these skills at this school. For free. Inquire within.
