An Introduction to The School of Kings and Queens

Hello
I've always loved the idea of democracy where people are free to choose those to guide their community. However, after a lifetime of living in democratic countries and observing democratic nations around the world, I don't think it works so well after all.
It seems that not everyone has the ability and/or desire to participate in the selection process of leaders and even if they do, it is very difficult to determine which members of the community to select, as honesty, sincerity, integrity, loyalty and reliability seem to very often be in short supply.
I've heard stories and read tales of kings and queens of the past who were endowed with attributes that suited their role as guides of communities and nations. These stories told of a great love by the guided for the king and queen based on the king or queens ability to lead the society with love and wisdom.
So on this website, I've endeavoured to discover what it is that makes a successful leader/mentor/guide and how one can acquire those attributes in the self, if desired, so as to contribute to ones society and take an active and leading role in its development and sustainability.
I'd like to, on these pages, develop a vision of a world of harmony. What would that 'look like'. How would people interact, how would they speak to each other, how would they live their lives if all of the elements within the society were functioning in the best possible way.
